A Korean dosirak this time.
This took about 20 minutes but that was mainly because I had to make the banchan (Korean side dish). It consists of:
Broccoli banchan (steamed and marinated). I forgot to sprinkle some sesame seeds on this.
Some rice flowers with a pickled radish centre.
An gaeran mari, which is a Korean egg roll with finely chopped carrot and spring onion. I also added a sheet of seaweed before rolling it up. It was made yesterday so only needed to be sliced.
And some more pickled radish plus some cherry tomatoes. And soy sauce of course.
This is quite a small dosirak and I tried to keep it “light”. I have noticed that I really like making lunch boxes but as a result I eat lots of rice. Think I will need more practising with size of boxes, balancing ingredients, finding out what food works (and what not) etc, but that’s part of the fun!
